Instant Nepomuk? It's awesome

NEPOMUK (Networked Environment for Personalized, Ontology-based Management of Unified Knowledge) is an open-source software specification that is concerned with the development of a social semantic desktop that enriches and interconnects data from different desktop applications using semantic metadata stored as RDF. Initially, it was developed in the NEPOMUK project[2]and cost 17 million euros, of which 11.5 million was funded by the European Union

That's based on wikipedia :), so what do you think about this video?

let's go " how to time" :)

Credit goes to the original source, i don't know where but i got it from Afietas Blog

What you have to do is modify the kernel configuration
It's not recommended for Small Memory or Low End PC / Notebook, it can causing DoS by a kernel.

Execute :
sysctl fs.inotify.max_user_watches
fs.inotify.max_user_watches = 524288
If you get a value such 8000 then you have to change it, to do it just execute :

echo "fs.inotify.max_user_watches = 524288" >> /etc/sysctl.conf

Dare to try it? I Love new KDE SC, even it's still in beta. It's give a performance improvement not all fake eyecandy stuff lol....

1. Stop nepomuk & akonadi before execute the command
2. After execute the command, start nepomuk and akonadi then try to check the integer. :) it should be changed. Anyway if it's not change yet try to restart after it.
